I've been using this ink for years, the blue and the black as well. together they make a fabulous blue-black too. You cannot beat the price for this ink, it is my favorite brand, and inexpensive to boot. For those who care, it does write a little on the wet side but I haven't had a lot of issues with smudging though I can be a mess when writing. (:
