Made from material as ancient as the world around us, Visconti Homo Sapiens is the first pen ever to be forged from the volcanic lava of Mt. Etna in Sicily, Italy. All trims are made from solid bronze and the fountain pen features the new Visconti dream touch flexible nib made from 23kt Palladium and is available in Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.3 mm Stub or EF nib (email us to check availability.) The volcanic lava barrel is virtually unbreakable and is flame proof and heat resistant to over 100°C. Slightly hygroscopic, absorbs hand sweat during use. Fills with the Visconti high vacuum power filling system. Made in Florence, Italy.
